Went to Tioman on Sat...It was a very last minute decision.Saw Jamie's blog on Fri that Liwen and her bf cant make it for their tioman trip, then liwen was suppose to go with Jamie, last minute liwen's bf staying in SG so she cant go, so i ask Jamie why not we 2 go(since our bf cant took leave).
Then decided to go liao but i suddenly remember my passport expiry date is 21 Dec 2008 which means dun have 6 months validty that i took half day leave rush to ICA building to get a letter stating passport in lieu.The application got approved but jamie called and say her marketing Mgr suddenly say HR will decide if she can take leave mah..lucky got approve in the end..
Afterwhich i went to bugis to buy some stuff for the trip. Pack my bag at night and baby came over to my place..Sat morning 5+am, me and baby wake up to have MAC breakfast then 6+ dad come fetch me to Galleria...Jamie meet me there around 6.45am. Bus came, and the journey took us 5 hr before we reach the ferry terminal at Malaysia then we took a ferry (around 2hr) to Tioman Island before taking another coach (around 10 mins) to Berjeya Resort.
Day 1:Walk around the resort, go to Jacuzzi, have our dinner buffet..The dinner wasnt that nice and most importantly there is cat at the restaurant..i was so scared lo, still got time where the waitress need come and bring the cat towards another side. I was so scared of the cat till everyone of the waitress and waiter know me lo, then got one uncle or supervisor change my sit to another place which the cat seldom goes over. At night, nothing much to do there except the beach bar, the ambience and live band performance was great, very suitable for couples especially. We went back to our resort around 12am.
Day 2:Wake up at 8+am, went to have our breakfast buffet..wanted to go snokeling at Coral Island but the morning session already went off while the afternoon session is full. Went to the seaside, swimming pool then go sun tanning till 2pm. Then we go over to the reception to check if anyone cancel their trip to Coral Island so that we can join in but sadly no. Then we went snokeling at Renggis Island..Really thank to the guide for bringing us around..Since it is my 1st time snokeling, i have problems using my mouth to breathe, but gradually got use to it..Saw Coral, Stingray, Sea Urchin, Nemo, Hermit Shell, Star fish and etc!! Snokeling so fun lo!! After that went to suntan again follow by dinner at the chinese restaurant then spa..Proceed to beach bar at night..quite happening cause there was a group of malaysian celebrating birthday and all of the tourist at the beach bar join in the celebration..Follow the malaysian to another pub at Keket Village..Reach resort only at around 3.30am.
Day 3:Wake up at 8+am then went to have our breakfast. Leave the resort at 9am and finally reach Singapore at around 5pm!!
Overall i feel that the trip is fun, though there wasn't much activities on the Island but we met alot of nice people. Tioman, a place i would recommend to relax yourself especially with your love ones..
