Some updates on the last weekend:
26 Nov 2009:
Met Maine and Crab at AMK Mrt, then we walk over to K Plaza to look for Ling. We have called to book the ktv room earlier. We took the dinner package which includes a bento , free flow of drink and singing session from 6.30 to 10.30pm.
As usual, sang and chat in the room. After the singing, we sat outside the plaza to catch up abit. Ling, Maine and Crab took cab home while i walk over to take 269 to Baby's house.
27 Nov 2009:
Today is Hari Raya Haji, a public holiday. Woke up at 10.30am, went for MAC breakfast with Baby at his house downstair. After breakfast, we took train to Dhoby Ghaut and head over to Holiday Inn Park View. We were there to attend the wedding show. Upon reaching the Crystal ballroom, we were given a doof gift. The door gift consist of a bottle of sweet, a thumbdrive, assorted vouchers from the hotel, bride shop and etc. We sat around the ballroom, a guy approached us to tell us more about a marriage preparation course, so we proceed over to their booth and get more information. It is actually a 4 hour course to let couple get to know about each other and also advise couple on how to deal with their finance after marriage. We headed over to the wedding suite and then to the smaller ballroom, before returning to the Crystal ballroom. The ballroom look posh and grand, the ceiling is high and there is a long march-in. However, there is 3 pillars at the side which will block some guest's view, but since our estimated table is not that many, we can closed that session. We will continue to look at other hotel to make comparison. There was a wedding gown show presented by Bliss concept, all the model is so beautiful, and there is one eho looks so much like a barbie doll! We left the hotel at around 3.30pm.
Baby and me walked over to Cuppage centre to buy my Omnia 2, waited for quite a long time, and finally got it at around 5pm. Took train back to Sembawang to meet up with Thomas, as we are having mahjong session at Luma's house. We only started our mahjong session around 6.30pm as Jamie was late (as usual). Our mahjong session only ended the next morning at around 8am. Baby and me won $57, Thomas won $11, Luma lost $58 and Des lost $10. Poor baby have to go for work, so he follow Thom's cab while i took cab home myself.
28 Nov 2009:
Slept till 4.30pm. Baby did not come over to my house as he was very tired, so we didnt met up.
29 Nov 2009:
Went to Bugis with Baby to buy our geek spec,manage to find it at Bugis street. Shop around bugis while waiting for Des and Jamie, they wanted to come over to buy the spec as well. We had our dinner at V8 before heading to Bugis street. After buying the spec, we sat at Starbuck till around 11pm before we took bus home.
